Who We Are
Dulce Piñatas is an artist-led creative studio founded by Brenda and named in honor of her mother, Dulce. Together, they create one-of-a-kind piñatas that spark joy, celebrate culture, and become meaningful parts of life's most memorable moments.
With over 25 years of piñata-making experience, Dulce hand-builds the structural foundations of each piece, while Brenda serves as the studio's founder, lead piñata artist, and creative director, guiding the vision, design, and handcrafted details that bring every commission to life. By blending generations of craftsmanship with contemporary artistry, they create celebratory art designed with intention, experience, and each client's vision in mind.
Rooted in their Mexican heritage, their work is both personal and purposeful. For them, piñata-making is more than decoration, it's storytelling, artistry, and a way to honor cultural traditions while creating new memories for others.

Our Story
Dulce Piñatas is an artist-led creative studio founded by Brenda Sanchez and named in honor of her mother, Dulce. Together, they craft artistic piñatas that spark joy, celebrate culture, and become meaningful parts of life's most memorable moments.
Long before Dulce Piñatas existed, Brenda's mom, Dulce, was handcrafting piñatas for family birthdays and celebrations. Some of Brenda's fondest childhood memories begin with a piñata; dreaming up what it would be, watching it take shape, and seeing it become the centerpiece of a celebration. What started as a family tradition would later inspire the business she founded today.
Years later, after earning a business degree and building a career in customer experience strategy and design, Brenda found herself drawn back to the creativity she grew up with. What began as a way to reconnect with her artistic roots evolved into Dulce Piñatas—a creative studio dedicated to craftsmanship, culture, and joy.
Today, Brenda serves as the founder, lead artist, and creative director of the studio, guiding the vision behind every commission. Dulce, with more than 25 years of piñata-making experience, hand-builds the structural foundations that give each piece its form. Together, they blend generations of craftsmanship with contemporary artistry to create one-of-a-kind celebration art.
For us, piñatas have always represented more than party decor. They symbolize creativity, resilience, community, and cultural pride. Whether we're creating a birthday piñata, wedding installation, community celebration piece, or brand activation, our goal remains the same:
